Thank you for supporting my small local business and for understanding that by booking an appointment you are agreeing to and understand the following information is in place to protect the business and clients in order to continue to run efficiently.
When booking an appointment: Please make sure you can attend as frequent rescheduling, cancellations and amendments even if it is more than 48hrs notice still does have a huge negative effect on a small business.
It takes approximately 7-10 days to fill any appointments organically and more than 48hrs for me to be able to fill the appointments from the waiting list as it takes time to contact people waiting.

- 18 Years Old: All treatments have a minimum age of 18 years old due to insurance.
- Card Capture: The booking system captures your credit/debit card details via Squareup to secure your appointment. Claire's Beauty Treatments will never have access to your card detail information, it is taken and stored securely via Squareup.
- On the day of your appointment you can pay by: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Contactless, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Maestro, Visa Electron. No processing fees are paid by the card holder. All processing fees are paid by Claire's Beauty Treatments. You will receive an e-Receipt. Due to new regulations the card processor (square) may require on occasion to use card and pin.
- Only one client at a time: The little beauty room is only able to accommodate one client at a time and there is no waiting room, so if you bring someone with you they will have to wait outside until your appointment is finished.
- Do not bring children or pets to your appointment: Insurance restrictions, hot wax, sharp tools and chemicals means it is not an appropriate environment for a child, baby or pet (do not leave children, dogs or pets in the car during appointments!)
- Wear old/inexpensive clothing. Products that may stain are used during treatments.
- Lateness & Repeated Lateness please help me run smoothly and efficiently:
If you are going to be more than 5 mins late please text or call only if it is safe to do so, there is only a small 10min buffer for lateness / overrun so after 10 mins the treatment may not be able to go ahead at all or treatments need to be cut short.
If this becomes an issue, I may ask you to book in when I can accommodate you better. - Earliness & Repeated Earliness please help me run smoothly and efficiently:
Only at your scheduled appointment time ring the bell on the side gate. If you are going to be more than a minute early please text to say you have arrived. I am usually still clearing the room right up to your appointment start time so please wait patiently. One text is sufficient and if I am ready I will reply to say come in.
If this becomes an issue, I may ask you to book in when I can accommodate you better. - Periods:
On a daily basis I get texts about periods and intimate waxing. Just use a fresh tampon (or menstrual cup), pop the string just inside with the tampon (inside the same place the tampon goes) so its completely out of the way, please let me know so I can avoid if any string does happen to show. If unable or uncomfortable using a tampon / menstrual cup: Then you will need to make the appointment in the same week or on the day you require it, however this doesn't guarantee an appointment will be available.
- Illness: You must not attend appointments if unwell; coughs, colds, covid, high temperature or anything contagious.
You need to wait until you are completely better before you attend and must still wait a minimum of 7 days from when you got unwell. - Illness: You must not attend appointments if unwell: Tummy bugs, sickness, diarrhea, sickness, contagious skin issues.

Whilst I understand that very occasionally emergencies and illnesses do happen last minute, it should be a rare occurrence and the more notice I have the more likely it is that the appointment can go to someone else. You can do this via your booking link or by logging in to the online booking system more than 48hrs before your appointment or if it is less than 48hrs notice please send a text.
- Amendments reducing or changing treatments more than 48 hours notice is required:
Please do not turn up to your appointment wanting different treatments or only part of the treatments booked or not prepared for your treatments. Specific time is allocated for your treatments booked. - Amendments adding treatments:
The more notice I get the more chance your request can be accommodated, specific time and equipment is allocated for the treatments you've booked in, it is not always possible to add more treatments but I can try to accommodate. - Missed Appointments:
If you do not attend your appointment and do not send a text with a valid reason, you will not be able to book another appointment. If you do get in contact a non-refundable booking fee of up to 50% may apply to secure future appointments. - Account Lock / Non-refundable booking fee up to 50% of the treatment(s):
To protect the business and income you can only have 3 cancellations/reschedules after that it will cause your online booking account to lock, text Claire if this happens, a fee will then apply to secure your booking and will be forfeited if any more cancellations, reschedules or changes are to be made. You will be charged up to 50% of the treatment(s) value to secure a booking. - Non-refundable booking fee up to 50% of the treatment(s) value:
This is a fee to secure your appointment date and time and the booking fee will be forfeited if any cancellations, reschedules or changes are to be made. You will be charged up to 50% of the treatment(s) value to secure a booking.
Patch Test:
- Patch Test for Lash and Brow Tinting and LVL: These treatments carry a mandatory requirement for testing and Claire's Beauty Treatments has a No Patch Test No Treatment Policy and a patch test MUST be booked in.
If you've not had the treatment at Claire's. If you've not had the treatment in 6 months (log in to account to check). If your medical history changes between treatments. See Book Online for more information. - Patch Test for Waxing if you have allergies: If you have allergies please contact Claire before booking an appointment as depending of allergy you may need a patch test before treatment.
- Patch Test for Waxing and Sensitive skin: You do not need to book a patch test as this can be done at your appointment if you have sensitive skin to see how the skin will react.
Privacy Policy Claire's Beauty Treatments:
We collect personal information about you when you request to engage with our services for a variety of uses based on different reasons. Some of the information we collect from you we need to enable us to deliver the services to you, sometimes we are required by law and regulations to collect this information about you. Claire's Beauty Treatments may have to assist NHS Test and Trace with requests for data regarding visitors to the premises.
Ovatu is used for all bookings and your account is stored on secure password protected servers and only staff members involved in your treatments and management are able to access your account.
Claire's Beauty Treatments does not share any personal information with anyone, all information you share is strictly confidential.
Square and Sumup are used for payment and collect information about the devices that connect to its services.
